One way is age because it doesn't really target one age group. This means that anyone can relate with the advert so it is easier for them to get their message across. He is more thoughtful about what he does and isn't afraid to do the right thing. He is the character most of the audience would identity to. Ed, who is a friend of Aaron, is one of the drug dealers.
