Media Forms How is it typical of a music video?  This music video has a lot of the same factors that are included in the music video structure. One element is performance. In is the music video, Plan B has used a lot of different locations that he performs in with most other actors. He has used a range of locations that are in some ways connected to the song. The lyrics have synergy with the mise on the scene. The locations such as the parking lot, council house and other urban locations are used to create “real life” situation. The locations used is fairly typical to other rappers music videos as the lyrics and what they are talking about is showing where they came from. In addition, there are close up with Plan B to create a bond and give an emotional connection to the audience through the lyrics. What are the typical  codes and conventions  of film trailers - what information is usually provided?  Trailers are used to promote movies and tell the story in a short period of time without telling the audience to much. Most scenes put in the trailer are the most interesting and might not been shown in the order of the film. The trailer has to interring for the audience and have a built up so that the audience go and watch it.  Most movies would include the same codes and convention which are: Title of the movie at the end so the audience knows what film to go watch Institution information about who help fund and produced the movie A montage of key events that happened in the movie to interest the audience to go watch the movie without giving any important information Introduce the main character so that audience can follow the narrative.
