'Clouds over Sidra'

1) What does new Media such as 'Clouds over Sidra' offer audiences? What is there a target audience and how do you know?
'Clouds over Sidra' is a 360 video that allows the audience to move around in what they are watching. This is called virtual reality. This type of media, in my opinion, is one of the most effective ways of watching any sort of media. It allows the audience to feel like there are in the same place that the character is in. When you watch the 360 video, especially in the classroom, you feel that you are there. The target audience for this video is younger people that are into the latest gadgets. It will show younger people what other young people are facing in their lives and give them information but current affairs.

2) How has the new perspectives offered by the digital world changed the relationship between the audience (consumer) and the Media product (producer)?
Consider: Sensory overload / the role of empathy / Immersive media
The digital world has allowed consumer to  be closer to the producer. It allows the audience to respond to the producers through different way such as social media. I allows them to comment on the the producers work or do parody to the work. Consumer are becoming more interactive with the media they consume.  An example is the John Lewis 2016 advert. People have made parody's such as the President election in the USA.
